Q: Do You install or replace skylights?
Absolutely, we can replace skylights. But we do not cut out and frame drywall or any carpentry. What we do is measure the old frame and opening and replace the existing skylights that has been damaged or weathered.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Do you offer financing?
At this time and probably any, we do not offer financing. My reason is simple, if your roof is damaged enough from a storm your home insurance will often help cover the cost. In today's challenging economy I would personally feel guilty to have offered financing if it could cause a financial strain in the future. We do offer repairs that can fix leaks or damages until you are ready.
Q: I think my attic temperatures are too hot, how can I cool it down?
There are multiple factors when it comes to attic temperatures. What we do is determine what vents are on the roof if any, determine the square footage, and calculate for a solution to get temperatures under control. Too many vents can cause hot/ air draft issues and may do more harm than good. Often times the culprit is painted soffit blocking entry vents to the attic. You can do the calculation at home to see for yourself, just identify your square footage of the attic floor and click the link below. It's one of the great features GAF has to offer, and why we use their products!

Q: What's better 5V or standing seam metal?
Standing seam metal is better than 5V. Why.... the answer is in the exposed fasteners. 5V metal is attached with screws that are exposed to the elements. The screws used to install 5v metal have rubber gaskets on them that can dry out and split causing water intrusion. Not to worry this generally takes 10-14 years and new screws are pretty cheap, but there could be thousands on a complete roof. What makes standing seam superior is the fasteners are not exposed. There overlapped by the next panel. Aesthetically standing seam looks more appealing to most people. Both metal roof systems are great choices to protect your home
